Karami is a Japanese word meaning "Beautiful Heat". And indeed it is. This unique and delicious green chile salsa is based on a family recipe that goes back over 100 years. The base is roasted New Mexico green chiles. But from there it goes in a very different direction from most green chile salsas. It has a sweet up-front taste thanks to the use of 100% raw blue agave. The back end has a moderate spicy heat from the green chiles.
